With the physical layout of the buttons, dials, and screens already determined. I was brought into the project to define the button functionality, interaction design, and screen design.

Working within the constraints of the already defined hardware was a challenge, but through iteration and consideration of the users needs for a product installed in pro studios and costing $2000+, I was able to define a system that worked efficiently.
Preamp selection buttons allow a touch-and-turn experience and holding down the selection buttons allows access to deeper functions, which can then themselves be selected and enabled using the push-dial.
The screens were designed to reflect the layout of the hardware, with inputs on the left, outputs on the right, and metering information centered.
